Unable to edit pictures
Just installed and registrered a full Capture One 4.01 with all prereqs incl .net 3.0 for Windows XP SP2 confirmed.
Upon first loading of some sample jpg-pictures, I discovered that none of the edit facilities are working. The tool bars and icons are all visible, but selecting i.e. white balance from either the icon or by Ctrl W doesn't give me any editing tools at all. The loaded picture generates a histogram, by no other features are updated .....
any hints and tips ....

Has that been changed from previous releases. I recall, I had a trial version some time ago .... maybe a year ago.
I was very happy for that trial, why I desided to purchase a full, updated release ....0 -
There are plenty of criticisms one can make of C1v4 (just read this forum 😊 ), but it is probably a bit too much to ask a specialist RAW converter to edit JPEGs.
Arguably it would be more helpful on occasions if the thumbnails were not visible at all (that might be a feature suggestion for an option), though I have used JPEGs extracted from the RAW file for comparison with the conversion preview.0
