Not finding 'Auto Hide (Browser) Mode' option

When I go to

"View > Customize Browser"

there is only an option for "Place Below," "Labels" Browser Toolbar," and Thumbnail size options. Nothing about placing it on the left (not that I want to do that) and nothing for "Auto Hide Mode."

What have I done, or am not doing, to make this option visible?

    I have a feeling that it has been said before that this only works on Macs, not in Windows, but I can't test that only having Macs. If that is right, it is presumably the result of some limitation in the OS as they seem to have made an effort recently to eliminate differences between the Mac and Windows versions as far as possible.

    I have the same recollection Ian3.

    Also for Browser Left, If you place Tools on the Right the alternative position for the Browser, when not wanted "Below" will be Left.

    More usually if people have browser Right and then Change Tools to Right the tools and the Browser will swap.

    I think that people prefer to set the position of the Tools left or right leaving the bowser to follow. No need for an explicit command.
