Vertical tabs font gone?
After I've added a TTF font to my WinXP system (the only change made to my knowledge) the vertical tabs font in Capture One Pro 3.7.1 became corrupted (very small in size and jagged as if the missing font has been substituted with something else). Reinstalling C1 pro didn't help. Is there a way to cure it (like a font name or other option to check for)?

dmitriizosimov,
We have seen this on a few occasions and as you mention, ususally involves the addition of fonts for graphics work. This is a Windows issue so without getting too deep into this, try the following:
Go to the Desktop > Properties > and Appearance tab
Check settings for the following:
Windows and buttons:
Color scheme:
Font Size:
Also check setting at the Advanced and Effects display.
Font files may get corrupt as well. Check Windows Help too. One suggestion in the past was setting font to Tahoma
This or just Restoring to Default font displays should resolve.
Good luck,

I've tried everything - no dice. Both OTF Tahoma files are present in the system but the menu tabs are still jagged. 0 -
dmitriizosimov,
In order to look into the problem it would be very usefull if you could provide a screendump or log of your installed fonts.
This will make it possible to see when/if the fonts has been modified - and if they correspond with the original fonts installed by windows.
Screendump
This can be done by selecting control panel --> fonts, and then selecting the \"details\" as viewing option.
Logfile
An even better solution will be to open the windows command line tool (normally found in accesories) and type:
cd \\windows\\fonts
dir /Q > C:\\fontlog.txt
This will generate a textbased logfile in the root of the C-drive which can be emailed directly.
