C1 4.1 Focus Tool?

Hi all,
is there someone who found the Focus Tool in the new CaptureOne 4.1 DB???

I can't find it.

    Hi Alan,

    This has not been implemented yet, CO 4.1 is basically 4.0 with added DB tethering so there are a many more features that are still coming.

    Focus works the same as 4.0 so if you want to check focus while shooting what you can do is switch to 100% view, hit enter to set as compare item and then switch back to "fit" view for the next images coming in. This will allow the image to focus while new images still come in.

    I think I will wait for Pro version, with sessions and all other features before using in production works. The most important feature of C1 for me is focus tool, because I need to check it while pictures are coming (this is possible only on very fast machines of course).
    Hope we don't have to wait months for this Pro version to be released.
    In the waiting time I will keep using 3.7.8 Pro.

    I agree about the focus tool being needed. It is good to check for overall composition in the main window and then check for fine focus in critical area while shooting. It is very unwieldy the way it is having to go back and forth.
    Hopefully it will be implemented in an upcoming version.
    Some of the new features look exciting but the basic things need to be here too for this to be usable day to day.

    Another user in agreement but we need both options. Keep focus as it is in 4.1 but add smaller secondary window as in 3.x

    Let me add my name to users who can't live without the focus window.

    I always work with art directors who watch the new shots coming through, they want to see overall composition and I need to be able to glance focus, the separate smaller window was one of the best features with v3.
    Also a quick click on different parts of the image is enough to check focus, the zoom of complete image is far to slow even on my quickest machine.

    Can we get a date.., month or year of release for version 4 with all the features we all use every day..
