How to Apply Preferences

Can anyone please tell me how to apply revised preferences to a collection after C1 has added the capture and generated previews?

  Did I not make myself clear? Let me try again.
  I am in the middle of a collection with 500 images and half way through I need to define different standard parameters for focus. I go into preferences, change the focus parameters but the new parameters do not get applied to the remainder (unprocessed) images in the collection.
  How can I get C1 to do that?
  Am I missing the apply button anywhere?
  What suggestions do you have?

  Persio,
  
  The Preference settings will be applied to all processed images from a Session if you Don't Touch the Sharpening sliders at the Focus tab.
  Once you adjust the sliders at the Focus tab, all bets are off.
  Either / Or is the Rule-of-Thumb here.
  
  Preference settings performs the equal sharpening upon all images.
  Sharpening at Focus tab sliders adjusts an individual image.
  
  So, if your New Preference settings are not indicated, did you adjust and apply previous settings to images?
  
  Since you're in the middle of a job, it may be best to set the sliders to exactly what you want on one image; and then Select all the remaining Thumbnails and Apply these Sharpening setting to them and then Process.
