Import using Selected Album

Each time I try to import to CO11 using The Selected Album option, I get a message saying, "The import job name is invalid. The selected name format does not support a job name that is blank , starts with a '.' or contains a '/'. My names don't fall into any of these categories. I have selected the Destination folder (2017 Work), and before trying to import created and selected an album (Immersion Blind 2018). Can anyone help, please? Thanks.

    Are you importing from another application's catalogue?

    I am importing from an SD card. Now, even when I don't try to use the Selected Album option, and just try to do a straight import, I am getting the same message. I've imported to this Catalogue before (its on an external hard drive).

    OK, you are doing something I have never tried and on a Mac whereas I use Windows so I'll dip out at this point I'm afraid other than asking whether you have already checked that the external device and the Album in question are indeed visible to the current instance of C1.

    I ask that because it may be useful information for anyone else who drops by and can offer more knowledgeable assistance.

    It might also be worth running the verification process against the Catalogue. Just in case ...

    Best option here is to create a tech support case (via the link in my profile) and send us your log files, which can be generated via the Scripts > Get Logs option.
