REQUEST! LAB color readout

Hello,

I was hoping that PhaseOne techs wake up and give people the simple option to read out LAB values. I cannot buy CH version because I'm not working in a museum. And also as a photographer, I don't want to spend $1000's on one function that your competitiors have native in LR and ACR.

This is one of the very few things I expect from a RAW converter, to support professional color correction.. Well, in a program you call PRO, it should have it.

I still have Capture One 7 (Trying 9 now on trial). I stopped using CO7 after a while just because of the functions I need, like basic LAB readouts I asked for in CO7 forum.

I'm not alone wanting this and I'm not asking you to make Cultural Heritage version obsolete, I just want the damn CIE LAB readouts.

    This is a user-to-user forum. To let Phase One know that you would like this feature the best thing to do is to submit a support case and entitle it "Feature Request".

    Last time I did that they recommended me to get Capture One 7 Cultural Heritage version to get LAB readouts.

    Then I applied to test that CH version through one of Capture One's offers to mailing list, answer was that I was not part of a society like museum, etc and therefore could not test or get it.

    It's like trying to call your ISP and get tossed around to different instances.

    This is a yell for attention and I hope some dev or marketing person read it. I have about 20 days left of CO9 trial and I now know what it still missing. Sad, because the quality is good on other areas.

    If you are in touch with those dev guys or marketing guys, maybe you could tip them? I felt I got nowhere through this "support case" 2 years ago.
