Confused. Is 5.x for appropraite versions of Windows 64-bit

    C1 v5 will run in 64bit windows. C1 v5 itself is not 64bit. Except for drivers you don't need to be 64bit
    to run in a 64bit OS.

    No, CO5 is a Win32 application a.k.a. 32-bit. However, if you run a Windows x64 architecture OS (XP, Vista, Win7), CO5 is the best option to run because it is the first CO release that brings tethering on a Win x64 architecture (currently only for Phase One backs but later for Canon and Nikon as well when their Software Development Kit is brought up to speed.

    That said, many Capture One users have used an earlier release on Win x64 (XP, Vista) in the past with success (except for tethering). Support however was in my terms 'diffuse' (not clear).
