I'm not sure if i understand.

I have a good screen shot, but I don't see how to upload an image. If you can explain that, I'll be happy to post the image.

    Thank you,

    Phil

    One option is to:
-> place the picture in your public dropbox folder
-> Rightclick on the image and choose the option "Dropbox" and then "Copy the public link"
-> choose the Img button when placing a message here and past the copied link in

Of course you can choose any other webspace you might have

Thanks for the very clear image uploading instructions. Let me know if this works.

    When I respond with a "quote" I see https://www.dropbox.com/s/w7t7qx4s5s22g ... bnails.jpg

And that is the strangest thing I have seen.
If you had Windows, I'd suggest the trial of installing the Codec pack from Fastpictureviewer http://www.fastpictureviewer.com/codecs/

It solved another MP problem that I had.

Maybe there is something similar for the Mac.

We've had 3 cases with this type of error in the past day or so. All of which are using the 10.8 Mac OS so we have suspicions that it is related.
If you could create a support case and provide details we'd be happy to dig deeper.
Currently I would simply suggest you rebuild the files to see if that solves the problem.

    Thanks, Jim and Drew.

I am on a OS 10.8 Mac. And yes, I've created a support case.

The effect is pretty cool, even if it driving me crazy. Here are two more images.

    1. List view then thumbnail view.

    2. Same as above then several command-minuses to make the thumbnails smaller.

I've done command-b several times. It does not work. Closing and open the files doesn't work. Closing and opening MediaPro works, at least for a while.

    Thanks,

    Phil

Indeed, 'bizarre' is the right word for this.
I hope Phase One support can solve this one quickly

same problem here.... occurred after an initial rebuild of around 9000 images. Is this software ever going to be improved!?

    Add me to the list.
I either get the very same effect as described in this thread - or a lot of images simply do not render the thumbnail.
Rebuilding doesn't help, it just renders/doesn't render different images. Clicking the image shows it just fine.

Strangely this has never been, a problem with Expression Media, Lightroom, iPhoto, well, any other application (I tried it with the very same image folders, of course).

The files are all of the supported formats (from iPhone JPEGs up to .cr2).
Current MacOS and MP versions on an iMac i7 27" (late 2009).
I tried switching the MP render engine from PhaseOne to Apple with no change at all (with or without restart of application or Mac).

    Just as an additional info:
The render problem exists also in CaptureOne 6 (which can't even see some of the images).

Will file a support ticket now.

OK this was weeks ago. What is the fix? What are we supposed to do?
