Latest Update Scam

I open Capture One and am told there is an update. Cool. I download and put it into Applications (overwriting my old version...big mistake) and complete. I go to open and my registration number doesn't work anymore. It appears I have to buy this update??? Since I wrote over my old version, I have nothing!!

How do I get my old version back?

I would contract phaseone directly but apparently no way to do that.

    Grab your version from the archives. It's in the "Software Archive" link on the Downloads page—the one with the very helpful description of "old versions of Capture One for download."

    Similarly, you can contact Phase One directly via the big bold "Contact Technical Support" link on the Support page.
