Still no way to set default folder(s)?
I keep all my photos on a dedicated drive that is separate from the macos system disk.
When ever I open any kind of file dialog in C1 it defaults to opening in ~/Pictures.
Due to how my machine is configured, it means that every time I have to navigate to the appropriate drive and then do the file operation I am looking to do.
In any normal application on a mac, some combination of the app remembering where you last were when it opens a file dialog, or an app preference to set the default file open location would exist.
I remember asking about this with C1-9 and getting a 'not possible but maybe in a future version' reply. There are threads I have contributed to in this forum on this specific issue dating back to 2015.
I've looked hard, but still cannot find a way to do this in C1-11.
Am I missing something - is there a (non hacky) way to do this in C1-11?

Hi,
I don't understand.
First, do you work with sessions or catalog ? Where do you store your catalog (if any) ?
Second, when you create a session or a catalog and import images there, C1 knows where to find them the next time.
If, when you open C1 with the right session or catalog, there is no reason why C1 would go to "Pictures", which is the default catalog location.0
