Renaming files crashes C1Pro
I installed C1pro without any problems but I can't get any further 🤬
When I load a session I do three things before even starting to process the images
1) Make sure they are sorted by date
2) Add my copyright
3) Rename all of the files
1 and 2 work fine but as soon as I try to rename all of the files C1 crashes after renaming the second file 😐
Any suggestions greatly welcomed.

Anyone find a solution to Batch renaming crashes yet? I've been using CO 6 for a year now and it still crashes everytime. Getting ready to jump on the LR room band wagon here as the powers that be do not seem to want to fix this inherent problem. 0 -
I haven't had any batch renaming issues with the latest versions of CO 7. Regarding LR, I have been spending the last few days investigation it thoroughly and while there are a number of features I really like, I don't think it is as good as Capture One when it comes down to the primary function of Raw processing. Even Capture One's Auto setting gives me results that I have to struggle to achieve with LR or even Photoshop. 0 -
one thing I could suggest is instead of batch renaming the images to set the name in the import window or when tethering under the "Capture" section give each "job" a name in the "Name" field. This way you wouldn't need to batch rename afterwards.

Good point, although there are a lot of time when you want to rename within Capture One. For example if you delete a lot of photos and want continuous numbering.
But like I said in my previous post, I think it's fixed now so no issues.0
