Simple question on upgrade releases

I am always nervous about losing activations. So when I have 5.0.1 installed and they come out with 5.0.4 do I have to deactivate before installing this on an existing installation. I have tried searching the knowledge base without finding a clear answer on this.

    No.
    The activation file is logged once, for Capture One 5. Once that is done, any iteration of Capture One 5 will use the same activation log and therefore not require reactivation or count against you in any way.
