How to open D810 files in CaptureOne Pro 7

A program has been developed to convert D810 NEF files so they appear as D800E and can be opened in Nikon CNX2. These converted files can also be opened in CaptureOne Pro 7 also. I see no limitations in the processing in COP7. The person who developed this program did it for free and there is an effort to pay him back.     An update of CO7 to support the Nikon D810 is pending and currently in beta. This beta is available on request. No need to hack your images anymore.

    I have a D810, shoot uncompressed 14bit and have upgraded to CO8. CO8 cannot open them correctly therefore there is an advantage for me to change the exif to D800E so CO8 can open them. PhaseOne has not given an ETA for when they will have a compatible CO8 available for D810 owners.

    With CO Pro 7.2.4 out now, a workaround for CO8 users with a D810 could be to use 7.2.4 until a maintenance update for CO 8 is available. Note that 7.2.4 supports the raw files, not tethering. As a result, this suggested workaround is for images that has already been shot uncompressed.
