Capture One 8 OpenCL

Hello all,
Capture One Pro 9 has an updated list of GPUs supporting OpenCL:


Is this list backwards compatible? On the new list is an Nvidia Geforce GTX 950. My question is, will this GPU support OpenCL for Capture One 8? We will be upgrading to Capture One 9 in the future and I would like to be sure we will get use out of this card until then.
