Lost controls after 5.0 to 5.0.1 Upgrade

After upgrading from 5.0 to 5.0.1, I am no longer able to "adjust" images. For example, I am not able to move sliders, or see any values in the sliders box. Can not adjust:
White Balance, Exposure settings, HDR settings, sharpening ... anything etc.

Help!

  Do you have the eye-symbol in the images as well (stands for read-only in CO language)?

  Yes, they do have the small eye Icon in the lower right corner. Looking at these files using windows explorer, I have confirmed they are not marked as read-only. Any more help would be greatly appreciated, and i have submitted a trouble ticket with support.
  
  I'm slowly beginning to loose my faith with this product.

  Ok, on further inspection, it turns out all the Vista file permissions had changed on the drive holding the images I was point to. I'm not sure how this happened, but the problem has been corrected, and I do not believe it to be an issue with Capture One.

  Thanks for the feedback. Now you have CO 5.x, you might perhaps consider Windows 7. I mean, Windows 7 is for sure the better Vista we wanted in the first place.
