    Hi,

Yes there are log files of Capture One.
    I'm running version 8.2.2 on a win7 Core I5 8GB laptop.

You must allow viewing of hidden files in Windows before you can see them.
The log files are in the folder C: \ Users \ [username] \ AppData \ Local \ CaptureOne \ Logs

Look in the "Application.log" to see if the OpenCL is successfully turned on.
also the file "ImgCoreOCL.log give info about it.

I do not have OpenCL On because there is no OpenCL driver for my Sony laptop with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics.

Despite it works pretty smooth with the changes of sliders, checked the Contrast slider
and there is no break in the function, the picture changed directly.

Which version of CO do you have?
Have you tried to put OpenCL mode to "Never" ? Just to see if there is any difference.

    Regards
    Nils

You may also download and install GPU-Z, an useful utility that opens a little windows in which you can see the load of GPU (and a lot of other parameters).

What I've seen is that the presence of an OPEN-CL Graphic Card heavily affects the file conversion (i.e. when you convert RAW to JPG), whereas it seem to be not so effective during the "adjustment" one usually does to the image.

C1 Rel. 8 seems to work a little bit faster on these aspects compared to C1 Rel. 7, but you always have to wait a fraction of second before the correction you've applied is visible on the screen (the same when you zoom to 100% or scroll a 100% enlarged image).

No problem for me about sliders.
