When processing, no "Local Adjustments" exported?

This happened to me once as well with CO6. I had postponed processing, placing images in the stopped queue, even restarted the program in between to free up memory. As a result the adjustments layer were not processed.

Prevent a stopped queue. As a preventive measure clear the batch history.

    Paul,

Thank you for your input, but I have tried this and then tried the same on another Mac with the same results; the adjustment layers are not being processed. I have cleared the batch on both Macs, restarted the Macs, tried processing them as JPGs or TIFFs. All with the same results. I should also mention this happens on CO 6.3.5 and the just realeased 6.4.

Is there some switch that is turning off the processing of adjustment layers?

These are edited IIQ files straight from my P40+ Back, shot tethered with no adjustment during shooting other than custom white balance set in the back before shooting.

I was thinking I can post a link to the EIP which has all the adjustment layers and see if anybody can reproduce the process error?

Here is the link: Please respect my copyright. I know you would, but I have to say it or my model and rep will kill me.

File is an EIP, size 103.9MB

Good, but now you have to provide the new exact url with the name of your zipped file, i.e.:
http://www.johnnykurtz.com/necklace_7268.zip (but this one does not work, I tried! : )

    HA! Very sorry about that.

    URL is

BTW, I am envious of your working conditions. I am a sailor at heart, but to combine both photography and yachting, very nice indeed.

    Hi Johnny
without doing any change I processed your file in both version and the change you made are really visible…
I've sent JPEGs (@100 quality) to you thru yousendit.com to your email found on your website (sales@…).
    Check your spam folder…
There must be something wrong but I've no clue about what it should be…

Boats ? Yes, great subject ; ) but working conditions may be wet !

    Nicolas,

Amazing! This is how I want them to export on my side. Thank you for proving that I have messed up my CO install and/or settings, and I am not all that crazy. What version of CO are you using? I think I need a clean install. Did you use the DB or PRO version? I here they are the same, but wonder if this is 100% correct. I use the DB version as I only use CO with my P40+, and Lightroom for the 1Ds MKIII.

    Thanks again. I love community.

On Boats: Wet, yes, but the hum of the rudder coming through the wheel rigging when you have the rails in the water is a beautiful thing. Some people like whale song, I love the hum of a balanced sailboat. I spend my summers in Dresden Deutschland, this summer I may make it down to Croatia for a week of sailing.

    Glad to help!
One is less alone when unexpected problems rise…
I used C1 6.4 pro version(under Lion 10.7.3) as I use it for my Canon 1DS3 and my new Pentax 645D (can't afford the phase back and Pentax is tropicalised which is a good idea for my "working conditions").
You should try C1 for your 1DS3 the demoisacing is by far superior to LR4. It happens to me to do the demoisacing with no sharpening and no noise reduction (our almost none) and do the pre sharpening and denoise of the tif 16 bit file in LR4, mostly for the Pentax 645D as LR also provides lens correction (these files are unsupported by C1 : (
I do to love the feeling while sailing, but most of my time shooting is spent in an helicopter or powered chase boat (noisy!)
Just south of Split there are some very nice islands, but they might be crowd during Summer (though these are the only ones I've sailed in Croatia)

    Nicolas,

Well, after a clean install and many attempts at processing the files, I kept getting results without the "local adjustments".

After looking into it further, I remember that earlier in the week I had installed a program named "TCPBlock". This is an additional firewall for Macs that allow a bit more customizing. I found that once I disabled the program, my processed files no contain all the "local adjustments". It seems there must be a memory conflict, another among the other memory problems with CO 6.

I have to say, this was a very frustrating experience and without your help, I would have had had a harder time diagnosing this conflict since both of my Mac had this TCPBlock program installed.

Lesson learned, keep production machines "virginal" to minimize issues. This is why I went to Macs from a Windows world, I must maintain this methodology.

    Merci beaucoup Nicolas.
