Laptop Battery Drain and CO7

Anyone else experiencing exceptionally fast battery drain using the new CO7 on their laptops? Didn't drain this fast when i was using CO 6.4.4

I'm currently using CO7 on a new Macbook Pro with Retina display, 16mb ram.

try turning off graphics accleration ?

That seems to have done the trick thanks for the help. Here's the path that I changed for others who have the same issue:

GOT TO Preferences>General>Hardware Acceleration (Use OpenCL for)
Display - Set to NEVER
Processing - Set to NEVER
