QuickTime Gamma Issue
Has anyone else noticed this?:
I'm on Mac OS 10.6.4 and running EM2 2.0.2 (service pack2). When I import QuickTime media in EM2, there's a gamma shift making the videos darker than the desktop version. QT7 and QT10 appear the same, but all my QT media is dark in EM2. I know that Apple changed the native gamma of OS 10.6 to 2.2 from 1.8 (now the same as PC gamma) so I'm wondering if EM is somehow weirdly compensating for this.
Am I the only one? I"m assuming its a gamma shift, but perhaps its something else. This is not a problem in 10.5.8. All of this media is H.264 encoded, so it could be that too...
Any thoughts?
