Media Pro SE stops import after 9 files
I have the software purchased and installed on a Windows 10 computer.
Since the installation I have a problem with the import from network folders.
A import from the local disc works fine, but the same import from a network folder stops everytime after 9 files from each network folder.
All other applications on my Worksation including Capture One Pro 9.3 Catalog works fine with the file server.
Support Case is open, but i'm waiting for supporter since 01.10.2016 ...
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Hi Ludwig
Did you solve your problem with the import?
I am struggling the same, at least in the same/similar setup. Windows 10, MediaPro 2.2, CaptureOne 10. I have not tried yet importing local files, but I cant' get a stable import from C1 through either options. Not to talk about sync. I managed to import 17 items, but that's it. It seams very random. These 17 were imported over 3 days. After the "add selected..." from C1, MP would flash, but no import. The next day the files were there. A reboot the same day did not help.
Now I can't get it to work at all. XMP files are created sometimes from C1, but not steadily. It drives me crazy. A support case is open.
Thanks for sharing your experience and hopefully solution.

Hi Reto,
In my case Media Pro obviously had a problem with processing the network protokol from my Linux Server.
Support told me that Media Pro works with windows and mac network servers and some NAS.
So I have activated the CIFS protocol (Samba) on my linux server. This works well.

Thanks Ludwig. I don't think that this is my problem. I narrowed it further down. What I now figured out is that I have no problems with JPGs, but with the raw files. I process a NEF and RAF to a JPG which is added to the MP calendar with no problem. The same NEF though also out of C1 is not added (with the exception of some few pictures, which seemed to have work randomly). I did not manage to get a RAF into MP.
I hope that support can soon help me.
Thanks

I solved my problem. Some 80% of my session folders were suddenly hidden (having 'show hidden items' turned on in the Windows Explorer). CaptureOne does not have an issue with that, but Media Pro does. I can work with the hidden session in CaptureOne, 'Adding the selected' from CaptureOne triggeres Media Pro, but Media Pro then cannot access the file. 0
