Copy not Move to Selects Folder

Hey Mike, I agree that this might be a useful feature for some, but because the selects folder is an actual folder in Finder, it could potentially get confusing to have multiple copies of the same file within a session. Here are a couple existing workarounds you could use:

Create a selects album. This will allow you to keep all of your files within their capture folders while still creating a central location for selects. Unfortunately, this means that you can't use keyboard shortcut like you can with the selects folder.

Use a smart album and ratings/color tags. If you define a certain star rating or color tag for top selects, you can then create a smart album that will automatically contain all images that contain that tag. No mouse clicking necessary, and its actually one less step considering that you will probably be assigning star ratings to your selects before moving them to the selects folder anyways

I've developped a workflow similar to what you are describing already.

I currently already copy to the selects folder, would like to have a faster way to do it.

That being said, thank you for your input.

What happened to moving a file to a new folder? How do I turn off the copy to new folder and get back to move? Is this no longer an option in a Session?

In the version prior to 10.1.0.194 (871bd87) I was able to drag an image from my Capture Folder browser and drop it into any folder in my library tool window. Now when I do the same action it will copy the image to the location but the original stays in the capture folder. As a workaround I now I need to change my (selects folder) to the desired folder. This adds several additional and unnecessary steps to accomplish the result.
