I want to point out that I have this problem regardless of how many files are in the folder. Some have 50, some have 300 (not 3000)

    cdesperado,

Be sure to check your Preference settings for this.
File > Preferences > Save Options tab
Save on Exit and Save when changing Collection are good settings to have. The other choices can affect performance.

You can also use the Archive tool to save all settings. The data is within the Work files. These are the Thumbnails and tagged .C1w

The above link is to a Forum post where we discuss this in detail. It should help you out.

The Thumbnail / Work files are tagged .C1w and are established and saved along with the Preview files [ .C1p ] within their default location of:
C:\\Program Files \\ Phase ONE \\ Capture One PRO \\ Previews
Files for All Sessions are kept in this location.
The files remain there and any further adjustments are updated and saved. When a Session is removed from Capture One, they will need to be saved and archived.
    See the Tips&Tricks article:

    Hope this helps you out.

    Sincerely,

    k c

Thank you for the quick response. I will read up on the links you provided.

As far as my save settings, I have the following selected:
    Save on exit
    Save when changing collection
    Save every 5 mins

I'll let you know the results of me reading over the links. Thanks again.

I too have lost many (about 10-20%) of adjustments to images. All workfiles were archived and copied over when transitioning from different versions, but it seems that the new versions (3.6, 3.7) don't properly read all the older workfiles from previous version. It is very frustrating. I can even point 3.7.1 to archives made in 3.5.2 and it doesn't recognise all of them. It does seem random to me which ones are not read forward.

I've been swamped the last few days and havent checked into the solution provided, but a friend in Germany experienced the same thing. He and I are planning to get together next week and dive into this further.

I'll let you know what we discover.
