Upgraded from 7.1.4 to 7.1.6 and C1X stopped working
Have been using C1X sporadically to convert FUJI-X RAF-files for import into LR and it has worked well. (Much better rendering than LR 5.3 of these files.) But then I upgraded to 7.1.6 build 31 and the thing went dead. The program starts, most menu items are selectable, but opens no dialogs, also mouse-over on the buttons on the top row displays [toolStripButton1] as shown here.

Installed the same installer on another PC (also running Win7x64) where things works OK.

Hello Hans,
If you have already tried the usual trick of re-installing but it has made no difference then it may be a good idea to open a support case with Phase One to see what they suggest.
One question. Did you install into the same folder as you 7.1.4 system or create the 7.1.6 installation in a new folder?
I usually create a new folder on the basis that leaves the older system in place (usually, for most upgrades) should things go wrong. However I suspect most people successfully overwrite any previous installation.

Just out of curiosity, Hans: navigate to the Capture One exe file and "Run as Administrator..." - see if that makes a difference.
Another thought - make sure your .Net Framework is OK.0 -
Hello Everybody!
Did you get any answer from support concerning this issue? The version 7.2 has the same "behavior" (OK in win8 frozen in win7 ).
Thanks in advance - Tiberius0
