Catalogs disappearing

I've had 3 catalogs in Capture One Pro 8 for about 4 months. Two were for new photos and one extremely large catalog was for my legacy images. Today I was in one of the new catalogs and tried to switch to the very large catalog when CP1 crashed. On reopening, only one of the catalogs showed up in the library. Is there a way to get my other catalogs back?

  I am sure (well, 99.99%) that your catalogs are still there. You can use the Open command from the File menu and browse to the catalog folder and select the catalog database file.
  
  What I think you are referring to is the Recent list. As soon as you have opened your catalog as described, the Recent list in the Library tool is populated again.

  Thank you, Paul. That was exactly right, the "missing" catalogs were there and opened without problem. I had not seen this behavior before and should have investigated further.
