I don’t use a Wacom, but I will point out that the latest version of Capture One is 12.1.1, so unless you mistyped the version you are on, I suggest updating to the very latest might be the first thing to try.

    Thanks for the suggestion Ian!

I didn't realise I was behind by one version. At any rate, I updated, and....no joy. Did the usual reset to get the wacom working. Everything was fine until I tried a two finger scroll in C1 and the touch function disappeared. If the glitch was identified before, it wasn't fixed in the last release unfortunately.

    Thanks again though.

Ok, well I suggest you contact Support, then. I expect they would have got you to update to the latest as a first step.

I have this exact same issue (and it's driving me nuts).

I have the lastest version of C1 12.1.x installed and am using the latest version of the Wacom drivers.
I even removed everything and reinstalled the software. The only thing I can say is that C1 causes the problem. My Wacom Intuos Pro is working as supposed to in all installed software. After starting C1 12.1.x touch controls stop working properly. Can't even perform a single tap.

Hope this will be fixed very soon.

    Regards,
    Marcel

Hi Marcel, I contacted Support as per Ian's suggestion. They have responded that it is a known issue and that R&D are working on it. Holding thumbs it won't be long before there is a fix. If I hear anything from C1 Support I'll post it here.

    Cheers

Unfortunately yes! It's driving me nuts. I've had to go back to using a mouse to scroll and select which is painful when you have been using nothing but a tablet for years.

you would think it would be a priority seeing as C1 is supposed to be the best editing software. I wanted to be able to use 1 program but alas I have to maintain LR & PS to do the editing that needs a brush tool with pen. My tablet works well with everything else but C1.
    Lets get this fixed!!!

Go on then Mike. Write some code and fix it.

I have to agree with Mike - but "only" partially. The issue is not so much a fault or an oversight on the side of PhaseOne but a bad and unstable driver/software combo by Wacom.
This is also an issue with Windows but it seems a bit more stable because of "Windows Ink", which for better or worse always seems to force itself onto the user.

I'm not the one who gets paid for a product that turns out to be faulty, keep the smart remarks coming and it will never get fixed.

    No idea then?

It may, f course, involve Wacom, some other sub-developers and Apple too.

Also Microsoft for the windows version.

As for "helping everyone". Nice idea but there are many people who don't have as much interest as you in Wacom tablets and, perhaps, certain operating systems enhancements that may be influential in the problem.

I'm one of them so please don't claim to be speaking for everyone.

Right, looks like Wacom solved the problem...or so I hope. The latest update from Wacom seems to have solved the problem. Make sure that update 6.3.36-2 is installed and the tablet will work as normal on C1

    Cheers
