Wrong colors of DNG files created by DXO Optics Pro 9
Hello everyone,
I downloaded trial of CO8 and I love it but I have problem with colors after importing DNG files created with DXO Optics Pro 9. There is a lot of more green, sky is violet, it's totally messed up. Is there any way to import those DNGs so colors will be interpreted correctly? The same files looks just fine in Lightroom. I do not have original RAW file.
Thanks in advance for any help

Capture One relies on the raw-files created by the camera.
As a general rule, only if the camera natively can shoot can shoot DNG will there be an ICC color profile for that specific camera.0 -

Original file imported to DXO was camera (Ricoh GR) RAW file. I expect ICC profile is still embedded so why CO8 can't read it when LR can. Should I let know CO8 that the file came from Ricoh GR somehow?0 -
The ICC profiles are not saved in the raws. And even if they were, we would not use them, as that would mean a 3rd party would control the default colors on that camera. 0 -

Thank you for explanation on how it works. But I assume there has to be color info somewhere if LR gets colors right. So what is the solution, if there is any, to display colors right in CO8. That's blocker for me to buy CO8, I like everything else.0 -
Capture One's camera support is based upon the original raw-files of a given camera.
In general we recommend that users keep their files in the original format at all times.
In your case, you could try to apply the Capture One Ricoh GR color profile to the converted DNG fil. You find the profile in "Base Characteristics".0 -

I know, I know, I shouldn't delete original RAWs. Thanks, I'll try what you suggest.0
