Migration from LR with titles/captions
I am brand new to Capture One, have dropped Lightroom (LR) due to their new payment policy.
I have with succes uploaded the LR catalogue til Capture One, and can see 30.000 photos (of primarily birds) and the changes made in LR.
All the photos in LR had a title/caption with the name of the bird. I can't see these names in Capture One.
It there a way to migrate the title/caption from LR into Capture One? (I have saved metadata to file).
Hope for help.

Do you have xmp sidecar files? 0 -
As these are likely stored in the XMP sidecars generated by LR, be sure that you have "Prefer Sidecar XMP over Embedded Metadata" checked off under Preferences > Image 0 -
Fantastic - now I have titles/captions included.
Thanks a lot for helping med.

Per,
For performance management reasons setting the XMP Sync to run continuously may not be desirable for everyday activity.
Apart from anything else unless you are actively working in the same images in both applications there is little point to doing so!
I thought it worth mentioning because the "Full sync" choice seems often to be a source of performance frustration for users who expect ultra fast responses and it seems logical that in most cases interactive running is probably without any purpose. Certainly not important enough to apply if perceived performance suffers as a result.
