Capture One Pro Connectivity Issues
I love my p45 and my C1Pro. I would love them both more, if I didn;t have 70% non capture rate when shooting tethered.
I have replaced all the firwire cables, the firewire card, and have run all the 'firewire update solutions' found here[, I even stopped by P1 while on Long Island on day. THe scenario is this: Dell Inspiron 9300 dual core with 2gig of ram running xp. There is approx 28g of available space (hard drive). FIrst thing in the am, with a new session. It will work dutifully for the first 15 captures. Then, I start getting errors. I find by making two sessions, x and x takes, it has a higher rate of success. I have also tried adding a new user, and running the software there.
I have no problem shooting to the card.
I experience the same errors with either a fully loaded (software) and a vanilla system. Anyone else experience this problem? ANY guidance is appreciated.

Dear gstose,
You should contact your Dealer for this issue as well. Your Dealer is always your first line of support.
Maybe some other users will have a solution, but maybe we can help you as well. Could you specify what kind of errors do you receive? Transfer errors or simply lost captures? Is the back coming up with any error messages?
There are several things that can happen during the tethered shooting process, so please be more specific and I am sure we can collectively find a solution to your problem. Alternatively you can create a case in our Support system and we can deal with it there.
Kind regards from Phase One0
