Image storage
Hi guys, I am a beginner user of Capture One, I have a 9 pro and I am not a professional. I just bought the software and currently I want to understand what`s going on. I have been used a Photoshop Elements for many years and I am accustomed to its storage philosophy. So I have a question : when I have a catalog in Capture One and make some adjustments on a photo I suppose I have to sore it (or not ?) So let`s me assume I have to to export it. When I export it my goal is to export it into the same place where I have the original file and I also want that the software automatically import it into the catalog. So I can see both the original and the changed image in the catalog right after each other. This is the way I can handle all my photos in Photoshop Elements. But somehow I have the feeling that this is not the right way with the Capture One because I could not do it. Could you help me out to get a better understanding ? Maybe this is even possible with this software but everybody uses in another way. Or even there is no need to store the image. But in this case where will be the changed image available if the catalog has gone ?

For you usage, you could export your files in the "Image Folder".

Do not hesitate to ask further questions.
