How can you have two catalogs open at the same time?

I'd like to have two catalogs open at the same time, so I can transfer image settings easily.

(I tried the export feature, but it didn't work, so I have to do it this way, one by one)

I'd like to have two catalogs open in two different windows next to each other.

Can you tell me how to do this?

  Hi,
  
  You can open multiple session and catalogs at the same time. There is a Preference setting you have to enable, assuming you have CO Pro 7 (not Express): General tab > Catalog and Session > Open in new window (check)

  Not a downside. I think that most users like to work in a single session or catalog. Opening another one, automatically closes the previous. And multiple sessions/catalogs open can become confusing when you are tethering. And it can occupy more memory which you might need for your active session/catalog alone.
