Moving the order of the Thumbnails

Hi,
Here's the scenario,
Images are now edited and corrected.
The Viewer is hidden so I have a full screen of the Thumbnails. Prior to renaming the Thumbnails, I want to change the sequence order as the Thumbnails appear.

I thought I could just drag and drop a thumbnail (or Cmd Click to specific images) and simply drag them between the Thumbnails in the order I would like.

I searched the Tutorials and the Manual and cannot seem to find this..

Please HELP!

  Hi,
  Hopefully, someone knows the answer to this!.... Workflow dealing with over 1500 images on a job is becoming a real issue!

  AFAIK there is not the kind of dragging thumbnails around like in some other programs but only (the more rigid) approach of different sort options.

  that's truly a shame... It would be better if one wouldn't have to jump to a second piece of software to achieve a "user order" along with the exif data. One area the C1 is truly lagging behind!

  Quite, and it also makes it very difficult to make pictures intended for stitching vertically and horizontally (essential for architecture on a view camera) appear in the right order in the viewer. The way round I have found is to rename the relevant files, temporarily, by putting a, b, c, etc. in front of them. They then appear in the right order in the thumbnails and, with any luck, in the viewer.

  For me, without a doubt, the best organizational tool in Capture One is the Albums feature. Previously I had been crying out for the ability to tag images with colours as well as ratings but now that we have it, I don't use it that much because sorting images into Albums works so well. If you haven't used this, give it a try.

  HI Rick,
  Please share your workflow.. After reading my earlier threads on this post, it would be great if you can guide me as to the advantages of Albums in your workflow.
  I simply want to drag and drop images in a custom order.. over and above the Capture One presets under the Sort Menu.
