CO Crash During Card Import, Images disappear

I thought I saw a thread on this before but I can't seem to find it. During a CO import to session in CO7.02, CO got the spinning beach ball and after a while my only resolve was to force quit. Reopening CO shows the images did not import. But the images are no longer on the card. The card is an 8GB card and shows only 4GB available even though the directory says there are no files. So I'm pretty sure the files are still on the card. Anyone know how I can retrieve them?

    Hi, don´t use this card for new pictures and try Data Rescue from Prosoft. This program brings the most files back. Maybe the filenames are gone but I think that is not a big problem. greetings carsten milbret
