C1 6.2 can't process my IIQ with my own profiles

Hmm, it is getting more weird by the day (hour, minute: your call 😁 ).

I have some custom made profiles myself and the first test confirmed your description. When applied to an image (Canon 5D mkII CR2, profile made with basICColor software) Capture One hangs (becomes not responding) when I process the image and I had to force quit the application.
As you suggested I packed the image to EIP et voilà, on y va (I believe that's French for a smoothly running operation) it was processed.

However to prevent packing to EIP, I tried another workaround, which worked for me during initial testing.

Go to the Color Editor tool. Click on the small triangle at the right of the tools titlebar. Select 'Save as ICC Profile...'. After you saved it with a new name, select that new profile as camera profile.

I'll contact Phase One over this and the renaming issue discussed earlier.

To all those how will need help about this issue, the answer from C1 support:
"This is a known issue and will be fixed in an upcoming release due shortly. Thats the good news.

Baring in mind this problem is specific to 6.2 and the workaround will create alot of redundant extra work after the service update - the simplist solution is to roll back to 6.1.1.

You can find it in the archive here: http://www.phaseone.com/en/Downloads/So ... veMac.aspx "

I hope to help some body else with this information...
