mini navigator shortcut with OS X Lion (10.7.x)

In version 6.x using snow Leopard- if a image was larger then zoom to fit,pressing Ctrl click (or right click) brought up a mini navigator window thus avoiding having to have the navigator window open all the time. since upgrading to Lion this keyboard shortcut no longer works for me. Does anyone know if the keyboard short cut was changed or is it missing altogether in Lion?
Pressing the space bar in windows did the same but I have not had the chance to try that out yet.
(many people never new about this well hidden function 😉 )

    Update: I deleted all plist files and proxies, repaired permissions and did a clean install. The mini navigator is working again with the control(right click) short cut.
    Problem solved!
