Leopard 10.5.6
Anyone tried it yet with V4.5?

I just updated and tested out C1 and all seems to be fine. Although I didn't do extensive testing, just opened up and changed some image settings and exported... all ok so far though. 0 -
Same here. Initial testing (opening application, processing) worked as usual (Dare Devils we are 😉 ). 0 -
I had waited for this release when I read on LL that a beta tester found the USB speed to have been bumped up significantly. I just tested tethering my 1Ds MKIII and WOW! Makes my patience well rewarded. 0 -
Well....it's been out for over 12 hours and no pissing and moaning here on the forum. This is a good sign.
Can 4.6 be far off now? 😊

i just downloaded os 10.5.6, and tried it with the canon mk3- tethered to a 2.4 17inch (last gen) macbookpro, 4 gigs ram.
a big improvement!
shots take 2 sec to ruff preview- another 2 secs slightly sharper (enough to see what you are shooting clearly), then 2 more to focused.
shoots 8 shots at 5fps, the 2 secs to another two shots etc, continously.
i also tried just shooting on single shot, about 1 frame every 1/2 sec or so (probably a shoot speed i would often do), and got to about 16 shots before it stalled, but cleared quickly after that.
that must the best we could expect out of usb.
very happy.
now if c1 4.6 speeds up it previews and sorts a few bugs out we may finally have a professional working software again.

😭 Same situation as with 10.5.5 here: C1 crashes often at launch or sometimes while working. Machine: MacPro 2,8 Dual Quad with 16 GB RAM. 0 -
Works great. OS X 10.5.6, macbookpro 2.4GHz/2GB RAM.
I love C1 4.5.2 - it's amazing!
It is slower than Aperture though.
Adobe Lightroom is no good in my opinon.0
