Copying Adjustments from Primary Variant....Spot Removal?

In both cases, copy/apply 'Dust' removal works out-of-the-box. Between variants as well as between different images.
'Spot' removal is only applied when tagged manually in 'Adjustments Clipboard' - 'Details' - 'Spots'.

I think that this is because 'Dust' relates to dust on the sensor, being an issue on the whole set of images, while 'Spot' relates to the image content.

Thanks. That clears up one issue I had regarding Spot and Dust.

    But, try the following.......

    1. Make adjustments to an image including, say, one Spot adjustment and one Dust adjustment.

    2. Select a second unedited image.

    3. Click Copy Adjustments from the Primary Variant/Apply Adjustments to All Selected Variants - arrows top right of screen.

    4. As you implied, the Dust selection will copy across, but not the Spot selection.

    5. Now go to the Details tab and, under Spot Removal, choose Shift Key/Copy Settings to Adjustments Clipboard. Now, the Spot selection(s) will also copy across to the selected variants - this is how I would normally do this.

Now, instead of 5. above, go to the Adjustments tab. You will see that, under Details, Dust is selected (along with any other edits you have made to the Primary Variant such as Exposure etc.) but not Spot, which I think it should be. So, click Spot and choose Copy at the bottom of the dialog. The scroll bar jumps and Spot will have been de-selected again. The selection of Spot is not 'sticking'. Surely a bug, no?

    Thanks.

My keyboard shortcuts are different, maybe because I'm on a Macbook.

(instead) No, it is not 'sticky' when hitting 'Copy' in the 'Adjustment Clipboard'. No idea why not. I guess it should.

EDIT: Please skip the remark about the Mac shortcut. The <Shift> combination is identical.

    Thanks for the reply.

Looks like a bug in the Adjustments Clipboard then.

    I'm Windows 10, for what it's worth.

    Dinarius:

to copy a specific set of adjustments to the clipboard I'd suggest to click the button in the specific toolset. This opens a dialog box and allows checking/unchecking needed/unneeded items. For the toolset of exposure correction for example this is particulary usefull when you want to pick as a reference for the application to a set of other images only one or two values (lets say contrast and brightness, but not the exposure value or saturation).

The application is as usual by hiitng the arrow down button in the top screen section. Hope this helps.
