Corrupt Sessions ???
Lately I have had a problem with capture one on a few separate occasions. This seems to be a unique problem and I cannot find any other entries on the forums similar to the issue I'm having.
It seems that in someway my sessions are corrupting. For example, yesterday I worked through about 100 images in a session- cropping, rotating, adjusting exposure, contrast, clarity etc.
Today I open the catalog and here's what I find:
1. Images that have been rotated AND cropped are no longer cropped. They are still rotated. They are now cropped outside of image with a black region included.
2. Crops have not been lost on images that have not been rotated. Only images that have been rotated have lost their cropping.
3. The adjustments I made to the images (exposure, contrast, clarity, vignetting, etc.) are still visible in the image viewer, however, all of the sliders in the interface have been reset to their original values.
This is a very strange problem in my opinion and it makes me very nervous using software like this.

I suggest you create a support case and provide the requested details.

There was a thread here in the forum with a similar title, IIRC. Not sure the symptoms were similar.0 -
Do any of your thumbnails look obviously corrupt? I do not mean different to how you left the edits but something with mis-coloured areas, blocks missing or major artefacts.
If so try resetting the settings for just that image and see what happens when you then close and re-open the session.
Alternatively delete the adjustments file directly if you know where to find it.
HTH.

Hello,
Did you find a solution to this? I have only recently upgraded to C07 from C06 and am having this problem. I can fix it by resetting the adjustments, then hitting command+z to undo the reset, and waiting for all the sliders and the rotation to fix. This seems to be a common problem when editing big jobs with 500+ images (Weddings etc) and is incredibly annoying! My assistant has been having the same problem with C07 on her macbook pro, support told her to completely remove and reinstall Capture which she has done 3 times to no avail so has given up, and just resets/undoes the reset every time she opens a session. Not a professional solution! The thumbails themselves show the rotation problem too but with all other edits applied but all sliders are zero prior to this reset/undo reset.
I am running on a desktop mac, both of us using OS X v10.7.5.
Thanks,

Hey,
I have been having the same problem for a while now too. Sometimes it happens to just a few photos in a session, but all the photos I edited yesterday have reset to 0, yet still look edited.
Anyone found a solution yet? It happens both in a pro 7 trial on Mountain Lion and fully licensed pro 7 on Mavericks.
It basically means i cant copy and paste adjustments to similar photographs unless i click and undo on each control i adjusted i.e. wasting a lot of time.0 -

Pro and trial have the same functionality. More important is the version, preferably the latest release 7.1.6 (a necessity on Mavericks).0
