Export/Import BW tiff issue
Hi,
As I'm new to Capture one, I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but surely you can help me...
I processed an image in BW (with BW histogram), to tiff 16bits.
Whatever the colorspace I choose for the export (sRGB, Adobe1998, Prophoto), when I import back the file I've just exported, the histogram shows me the file is not in pure black and white.
Is that normal?
When I import the same files in PS (with the appropriate color space), they look also not perfectly Black and White (on the histogram), so I believe something is wrong with my export from C1P.
BTW, when comparing the imported tiff vs source in C1P, there is a small, but noticeable difference in contrast. The imported tiff is a little bit less contrast.
I'm pretty sure it's my mistake, but it's starting to drive me crazy...
Thanks for your input,
Best,
Rémi

A file in an RGB color space has RGB values, regardless of being represented as Black and White. 0 -
