Error loading adjustment mask continues in 12.0.1
Just an FYI for those of you suffering through this problem that, at least in my instance, the "Error loading adjustment mask" error continues in 12.0.1. C1 will then replace your mask with an empty one, which is rather dispiriting after spending hours carefully masking images.
A workaround is to create a dummy layer and then do the real masking on Layer 2 and above. It seems the software has issues loading layer 1, but appears to be ok with layer 2 and beyond. By adding in a dummy layer 1, you should be able to retain your masking work, even if the software comes up with the error.
I have a long ticket with PhaseOne and have provided them with the EIP files and the screen shots showing that the issue has not yet been resolved, at least in my instance of C1 Pro 12.0.1.
