Activation on rental laptop

I am doing a location shoot which is rare for me. Consequently I need to rent an appropriate laptop for the job. My software iis only activated on one computer so I gather that I could also activate it on the rental for a couple of days.

What I need to know is whether there is a way to De-activate it when I am done with it so that I have my second activation available should I need it in the future.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

  If you are shooting w/ the H25 you are using DB software, right ? You may load that program on up to ten machines.
  
  So as not to waste any of your loads I would rent the computer from a Phase One dealer. They are capable of loading a \"timed\" rental software program for you.
  
  Or, the third option, if that rented computer's hard drive has not been used to download a trial version of the software before, that would be another way to go.
