Web Contact Sheet - Could not process file
Hi all,
I'm trying to produce a web contact sheet, something I've done a few times before, but C1 is stubbornly refusing to process the files. The full error is:
Description: There was an error during the processing of the output file.
File: /Northern Pics 2015/Capture/May 29 2015/05/29/Canon/Canon EOS-1D X/AMX28049/AMX28049.JPG
Domain: com.phaseone.captureone
Code: 13
I've searched the forum for a solution and tried the only thing I could find - clearing the batch history - with no change. I can confirm permissions are fine and I can also confirm it does it with multiple sessions, even sessions from which I have previously made contact sheets. I tried a basic export and Capture One WILL export to jpeg without issue.
I'm using C1P 8.2 (8.2.0.82) on a Retina MBP with Yosemite 10.10.3
Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated - this is a function I use quite a lot and there is quite a bit of pressure to get proofs online from a current job.

My first attempt would be to update CO8. In particular when you run on 10.10.3 I would suggest 8.2.2 or 8.3.0.
A second attempt to fix would be to delete the preferences. This is done through a Terminal command which you can find in the reinstall article KB 1167 on the Phase One support page.0 -
Thanks Paul, I downloaded 8.3 and it has resolved the problem, although it did introduce a new one. Once installed all of my custom interface settings were gone and I'm back to the 'standard' set. I'm both surprised and a little annoyed at this as it took a long time to get it 'just right' for the way I like to work.
Is that normal behaviour for an upgrade of C1? I can't imagine it would be intentional. I'd be curious to know where these settings are stored as it appears that updating to 8.3 has killed the 8.2 pref file.
Thanks again Paul, I'm still finding my feet after using Aperture since day one.0 -
For the workspace, do you have a 'Capture One 8.2 Workspace' entry in the 'Window' - 'Workspace' menu? It should be your old setting.
But save your new workspace before trying. It's always a good idea to have it saved, just in case. 😄

Doh!, thanks Hans, I have one which i had set with my name and i now have my workspace back to how I wanted it 😊
To be honest I'd forgotten they were a saved workspace and just assumed they would be stored as a preference and loaded on an upgrade. As I said, I'm still very new to C1 and finding my way around. There are certainly things I miss from Aperture but I'm fining the default camera settings in C1 to be far superior - the results from Canon RAW need virtually no adjustment whereas in Aperture there was lots of tweaking to get accurate colour.
The learning continues... thank you again.0
