File naming question using a Canon 1Ds in Tethered mode.

I am using a Canon 1Ds in Tethered mode.
I get filenames with the following format: "Aug112006_193917_000118.tif"
I don't see how I can change the format.
The settings in preferenses do not have any effect nor do the camera settings.
Do I overlook something?

I appreciate your answer.

    This KB describes the Batch Rename tool in Capture One, however, it is also used to set the arriving file name when shooting tethered.

    At Preferences > Capture Options tab - you should get different results by checking/unchecking Use cameras capture counter instead of local counter
    and Always include number
