Any issues with 1366x768 Laptop display?
Phase One recommends a minimum screen resolution of "1280x800, 24 bit resolution at 96dpi screen ruling" for Capture One, that's fine. However most common or inexpensive laptops have a display resolution of 1366x768. My question is, is C1 version 7 readily useable on 1366x768 laptop screens or is a higher screen resolution mandatory as per Phase One recommendations?
I've searched and found a few references to having to use 100% or 96dpi to see the entire screen, is this the only problem or should 1366x768 be avoided altogether, which seems to also eliminates most affordable laptops?
Edit: I'm in the market for a laptop but don't want/need an expensive unit, with higher display res or a larger screen, as I probably won't be using it very much. Most of the lower priced units that otherwise suit my needs fall in the 1366x768 screen resolution but I want to know if I can use C1 on them, or not. If not, then so be it.
Thanks
John

You will have a hard time fitting all the tools, which is why we recommend something bigger.
Also, buying an inexpensive computer also going down on performance. While CO can run on a poorly spec'ed machine, we highly recommend to use a machine config similar (or better) to what we recommend in the release notes for the best experience and responsiveness.0 -
Hi John,
I am using C1 on a laptop with a resolution of 1366x768 and it works like a charm. Of course, I have configured my workplace to just contain the tools I need (for studio photography), but everything works perfectly.

Thanks guys. Sounds like the small screen res will only be a minor problem considering the limited use C1 will see on the laptop.
