Hello,

I use DXO and have set recently the output settings to Adobe RGB. Expression Media shows the resulting file as sRGB but I doubt that this is true because when I open the file with CS4 I do not get a conflict message regarding the color profile - CS4 is set to Adobe RGB and will warn me if there is a profile mismatch.

When I then SAVE the file in CS4 it shows up with the correct profile in Expression Media.

Any ideas how that can be?

    Maybe DXO does not tag the profile properly in the image file or at least not correctly for EM. Check whether you run EM2 SP2 to exclude any fixed bug which still hangs around your setup.
    Instead of opening the image file in PS, browse to the file with Bridge and look for the ICC profile in the file's properties.

    Hello Paul,

    I run SP2 and I have just checked in Bridge - it is Adobe RGB. So the file comes out correctly from DXO an intended and Bridge and CS4 recognize the file with the correct profile but somehow EM2 thinks it is sRGB.

    I just checked "Manage profiles" in EM2. The 3rd button indicates "Embedd profile" with a drop down menu. I know that in the past I had option in this drop down menu but they are gone now, no options anymore.

    As an old-time EM2 user can I just re-download the software from the normal site or do I have to go to a special site.

    You can download EM2 from the regular Microsoft site. For Windows you have the program EM2, a SP1 patch and a SP2 to download. For Mac, it is a single download: EM2 + SP2 included.

    Hello,

    just reinstalled EM2 but that does not help on the sRGB issue nor on the issue with "Manage Color profiles".

    I suggest you open a case with Phase One and upload an image file with it.
