I assume you refer to tethered shooting, with the camera connected to the computer and operating from Capture One.
Can you check/confirm that you run in Pro mode, not DB (when you start the trial, you have to select which mode you want to run) or look in the Help, About menu.0 -
Thank you for your reply.
I click Help then About, I pop up a windows, that says CaptureOne Pro 5.0.2 Trial.
I use a Nikon D2000 -
OK, next: with your camera connected and switched on, is it recognized by the computer (Device Manager). And if any Nikon software is running, kill it before you start Capture One.
What Windows are you running and is it perhaps 64-bit?
Try to give some information about your setup. It really helps helping.0 -
Hi Paul,
My computer did recognize the camera when I plug it in but the CaptureOne 5 Pro says No Camera Attached!
I am using Windows 7 64 bits.
Thank you!0 -
Having a 64-bit setup could be the culprit. Best to ask Phase One in a support case which you can open from their web site. Some DSLR cameras which are supported according to release notes work tethered within Windows 64-bit (my Canon 5D mkII is an example; but I have seen reports from Nikon D700 as well). Maybe it is a communication setting on the camera; not a Nikon user myself.
Maybe any Nikon users here?0
