white balance with P65+

Hi !

Working on CO7.0.2 right now, and I can't seem to be able to set the white balance to the one I want straight out of the camera (the raws don't have the correct balance). Once the settings are on, it's fine, but I like having the RAW with the perfect WB. Was working fine on CO6.4.4.
Any idea what happened ?
Camera is Hasselblad H2 and back is P65+

    This is not possible with Capture One as it is a Read Only software. Capture One does not have the capability to edit your RAW file itself. The White Balance that is written at the time of capture is the one that the file will retain.

    In order to have your RAW files have the correct WB embedded you'll need to have the back set to that specific WB. This can be done through the back itself (using a preset or Custom WB) or by using the "Set" button in Capture One when tethered.

    Hi Drew,

    I understand you cannot modify the RAW. I'm talking about the "SET" button in the camera tool. You define your WB settings and then you send the info to the digital back. Then the next RAWs that come in have the correct WB.
    I just switched back to CO6 and it works perfectly fine.

    I also noticed issues with connexion to the P65+ and CO7. If you leave it a few minutes without doing anything and you start shooting directly, no new captures can be done, although it says it's connected . If you take it out and connect it again, works fine again. But that's another problem 😉

    The SET button in CO7 should work to a P+ back, although I do not have the gear to test. Phase One can. Drew perhaps?

    I just had the same issue on set yesterday. Balance is grey out and 'set' button doesn't work. p65+ w/c1 7.0.1 on retina mbp 10.8.2
