Live-View tethering with Sony A7R

Can somebody perhaps help me out? Phase has made an upgrade from the free Capture 1 Express for Sony to "Pro" for Sony, which only costs 23 Euro. Evidently that enables live view tethering with some A7 models, but it´s not clear to me whether A7R is supported or not. Does anyone have any experience with this?

  On the older (original 1.01) firmware for the Sony A7R it works.
  For the new (1.10) firmware for the Sony A7R it does not.

  Thanks Drew. I´m used to using Canon´s free Utility software which works great for tethering, so I was completely surprised that a similar software isn´t included with Sony cameras, but I guess it isn´t either with e.g. Nikon cameras.

  NIkon's is not free.
  Sony file support is free in capture one but tethering requires purchase of the discounted Sony Pro version.

  This is a limitation of the camera firmware. If you want it back, the best thing you can do is to start a Support case with Sony.
