MediaPro trial disaster
Fortunately I installed Media Pro on another computer, and only the trial version.
* Tiny unreadable menus on black, user interface standards, anyone?
* Importing a few small sample files, just to test:
No importer found for media file [-2008]
Oh, it was a rare and unusual format, one GIF, one JPEG file.
The error message is pale grey on yellowish background with a red border, again, user interface standards, anyone?
Luckily I never got as far as to see the other problems reported here. After several attempts to import files, any files, I gave up ... going back to EM2 for now and looking for an alternative :-(

I imported 51,000 images. Took awhile but no issues so far. JPG, DNG, IIQ, EIP, NEF, and other stuff. Maybe it is worth talking to the support people and trying to work out what is going wrong. [quote="krusch" wrote:

Perhaps it is... but you know what - I've tested many DAM betas and for the majority - the thing at least got off the ground when I installed. This item won't run on 2 of my machines - go to import an image - CRASH.
While I understand they can't know about every config on the planet... with so many folks having so many issues - it is obvious this was rushed out the door to beta too soon.0
