Regarding erasing after import, can you give more specifics regarding card, card reader and files?

Regarding start of import dialog after connecting card, this is handled by Capture One preference setting.
    General tab > Importing

Capture One preference settings General tab > Importing > Open Importer when connecting removable media, has been checked.

I use Sandisk Extreme IV 4.0GB CF Cards,
    Lexar USB3 card reader
Raw files are Canon 1D Mark 3, CR2 files

I changed to a Sandisk ImageMate 12 in 1 reader, but the Importer still had to be opened manually.

Everything still works nicely in CaptureOne 6.4.4

    Thank you contacting me!

    Hi Vesa,

Which problem: starting import dialog after connect or the erase after import feature?

What card reader do you use? And are you on 7.1.4?

    Hi Paul,

...both... The import dialog won´t start automatically even thought I´ve set it on at preferences. Also the erase images after importing tab can´t be set on.

I have a fixed card-reader on my pc and yes, I´m using 7.1.4
